Pressure Off
Context
Oral-B iO takes the guesswork out of brushing with smart sensors that guide users toward the ideal pressure and technique for a gentler, more effective clean.
Insight
Good brushing should feel effortless. But for many of us, the daily routine looks more like sitting through a horror movie than caring for our teeth.
Idea
Using the bathroom mirror as a storytelling device, we reflected rigorous brushers into situations that matched the intensity of their brushing habits. No matter the scenario, each execution landed the same truth: if brushing feels this intense, you're probably doing too much.
As someone who brushes a little too enthusiastically myself, I've often caught ridiculous expressions staring back at me in the mirror. Once I noticed it, I couldn't stop seeing it everywhere. Somehow, brushing had become far more dramatic than it needed to be.

We used the bathroom mirror as a window into that behaviour. By pairing rigorous brushing faces with unexpected scenarios, we highlighted just how intense a simple brushing routine can look. Humour became the vehicle for introducing Oral-B iO's promise of a gentler, smarter clean.
By turning a technical product benefit into a relatable human behaviour, the campaign made smart brushing feel less like a feature and more like a solution to something people didn't even realize they were doing.

Some visuals were made using AI. The idea and strategy are mine. The 37 rounds of "make it feel less AI" are also mine. God bless designers and art directors.
